I liked the book New Kid! The main characters were Jordan the new kid, Liam, Drew and Andy who are his peers. Jorden moves to a new prestigious private school for academic purposes. He would rather go to art school. He can draw some really cool art. By the end of the year, he wants to stay at the new academic school! Steven Spielberg was a bit different from his peers, causing him to feel a bit lonely growing up.  A boy who was happiest with a film camera in his hand. One his father had given him, an eight-millimeter Brownie. One of the most successful film director of all time. At age 16 he was learning how to make action pictures with no drivers license, very little money.

Steven noticed a copy of an unpublished novel on Zanuck a talented Universal producer's desk called” Jaws” and read it over the weekend.   He made it into a scary movie with a robot shark that looked very real and it attacked humans while swimming.   He had many challenges making the movie.  But when his movie released to the public it was a spectacular hit, first-ever summer block buster earning $260 million.  After that experience, he decided that his next movie would be on dry land!
